It’s winter time in the Northern Black Hills! We have recieved some snow but not enough to start grooming. We are watching the weather forecast just as much as everyone else and hoping for more snow soon.

With the small amount of snow we do have, you can ride a fat bike almost anywhere. Tinton Trail below Aspen Hills has seen a lot of traffic and is riding well. Iron Creek Drainage is another good option that has seen a lot of traffic too.
